GMTK 25 Game Jam Submission Results

Final Results for my submission

The results for my game jam submission were pretty average overall. Since my main focus has always been on making games that are fun to play, I never expected audio or artwork to be my strong suits — and I knew going in that those categories would likely score lower.

Looking specifically at the Enjoyment category, my game ranked 2992 out of 9651 entries. Not exactly a top-tier placement, but definitely far from the bottom.

What matters most to me, though, is the feedback — and in that department, I’ve been getting plenty of positive comments about how fun and enjoyable the game is. That’s the kind of result that makes me want to keep building and improving!

This game jam was a personal challenge to push myself in learning how to incorporate 3D models into Unity games. The learning curve was steep, but I made significant progress along the way.

Originally, I planned to stop development after the jam and move on to my next project. But after receiving so much encouraging feedback, I’ve decided to finish the game and publish it on itch.io, Crazy Games, and Steam.

For me, this is both a creative passion project and a chance to learn the full process of publishing a small-scope game across multiple platforms. Plus, I’m genuinely excited to see it completed — especially after having so much fun making and playtesting it.

Please look forward to more updates as development continues! You can follow my socials to stay up to date.
